I have decided to delete the old input page as data for your location for each eclipse can be more readily found from either the FINDER page under the USNO On-line image link or directly as below.

Here is the procedure which can be easily followed after clicking on the USNO link:

1. Select the direct link found below for the USNO Lunar Eclipse Computer,

2. Click on Form A if you reside in the USA, (if outside the USA go to step 4),

3. Select your state from the pop-down menu, go to step 5 and then to step 9,

4. Click on Form B (if you reside outside of the USA),

5. Select the date of the next lunar eclipse (say 1999 July 28) from the pop-down menu,

6. For Form B users, enter your location data as Longitude, Latitude (make sure you check the E or W and N or S buttons),

8. Enter your time zone (this is normally 1/15 of your longitude in degrees) as so many hours E or W of Greenwich,

9. Enter your location Name,

10. select GET DATA - this will give local time for moonrise, eclipse circumstances and moonset and the altitude and azimuth of the moon for each time.

When the data appears just highlight it and paste to your file for later reference when you observe the eclipse.

Now just go to the USNO On-Line link for the LUNAR COMPUTER

If the lunar eclipse is NOT VISIBLE from your site consider viewing my "live" web-cast which can be found on my home page
