THE 1996 LUNAR ECLIPSE OBSERVER
I hope you were able to participate in the world-wide observing
program and contribute to my on-going study of the geometry of the
Earth's atmosphere.
Details were provided for the observation of the total lunar
eclipse of 1996 April 3-4 (this web page - now concluded) and 1996
September 27 (see the prediction web page for full details). Both
eclipses were or will be, visible in most parts of South America, the
United States of America, the United Kingdom and Western Europe.
NEW ON 15 AUGUST 1996
The analysis of over 600 crater timings contributed by 23
astronomers observing the eclipse in The Netherlands, Belgium and in
Brazil, South America is presented, including a link to the Analysis
of Video records of this eclipse in a new web page.
