the 1999 November 15 (UT) transit
of Mercury LIVE from Australia
There will be "LIVE" up-dated images
immediately below every 3 to 5 minutes from the 1999 November 15 (UT)
transit of Mercury which commences at
21h 14m 59s universal time. The
video images are being recorded by the Calwell Lunar Observatory and put directly to
the Internet. It is recommended that you use a full width browser and
Reload/Refresh your browser every 3 to 5 minutes to get the latest
images.

These images were taken using a
Sony Handycam TR511E CCD video camera -
the time shown is in Universal
Time (UT).
If you are having problems receiving the "live" images you should set
your browser Network preferences cache to 0 M (zero megabytes), turn
off any PROXIES and set the browser AUTO LOAD IMAGES to on.
This is what it will look like - the
animation is NOT looped,
