the 1999 January 31 TOTAL penumbral
lunar eclipse LIVE from Australia
There will be "LIVE" up-dated images in
the area below every 3 to 5 minutes from the 1999 January 31
penumbral lunar eclipse. The video images are being recorded by the
Calwell Lunar
Observatory and put directly to
the Internet. It is recommended that you use a full width browser and
Reload your browser every 3 to 5 minutes to get the latest
images.

These test images were taken using
a Sony Handycam
TR511E or a monochrome surveillance
camera.
If you are having problems receiving the "live" images you should set
your browser Network preferences cache to 0M (zero megabytes), turn
off any PROXIES and set the browser AUTO LOAD IMAGES to on.
As a preliminary to this penumbral eclipse - on the last full
moon which was the first of two for the month of January we have a
BLUE moon. Here it is:
after this eclipse
there will be an animated file here of all captured images
from 1999 January 31.
